TIS THE SEASON

This song was a must and should have been expected. Mariah Careys infinite money glitch. Truly the mother of Christmas. I find it funny how every year, I feel like her “defrosting” announcements get earlier and earlier in the year. This year it was announced the second halloween was over. Like damn, did not even give me time to get excited for thanksgiving (this years feast was absolutely phenomenal and one for the books, v thankful).

I think the best you can do for yourself to be well off of the rest of your life is by making a hit Christmas song. All these popular songs we stream every year is the seasonal paycheck people like Mariah Carey wait for. High key… I would want to see her perform this live, but I would have crazy expectations you know LOLLL. Because I listen to you every year for Christmas, so I want it to be just as magical, if not more.

MY MAN MY MAN MY MAN (for the season of course). I LOVEEE Michael Bublé. His Christmas album is for sure my most streamed every December. You know it’s kind of a shame that apple replay (similar to Spotify wraps) stop calculating the data after November. Im pretty sure it is because the holidays mess up our streaming stats. But i can sure you the amount of times I am streaming the album is no mistake.

I think I would in fact sell my little sister or house to see this man perform this album during Christmas, sounds life changing. Oh and with hot chocolate??? Honorable mention to Jingle Bells ft The Puppini Sisters, that is my second favorite song on the album. There’s just this specific voice one must have for the Christmas essence. It is also strange to see how fairly “new” Michael Bublé is…I guess? When you compare it to older hits like Brenda Lees ‘Rockin Around the Christmas Tree’ in 1958.

Oh my sister would freak over this one. This is in line for must play Christmas songs every year. Let me put y’all on because what do YOU know about ‘Christmas Eve’ by Kalin and Myles??? Sadly this song will not be found in the harmonic collection playlist. Not only because it is a Christmas song, but it is NOT on Apple Music, she’s a youtube treasure. I find this to be the problem with my Soundcloud musical well. Nothing pisses me off more. Yea I can just stream the song on its proper platform, but at what cost. 2 one minute ads?? Yea, no thanks.

Is it just me that kind of prefers the days leading up to the holiday as opposed to the day itself? Not sure if it is because I am getting older and losing that “holiday spirit”? Is it because I stopped believing in Santa Clause??? Y’all really had me in the first half trying to convince me he was real with all the moves telling me otherwise. My top Christmas movies are basic but a classic. Home Alone and Elf. Which reminds me to put that on my December to do list >:)

The Latinas who know will know how iconic this one is. The first stream of the year is to be played on thanksgiving. A tradition my cousins and I made up and have followed through with these past years. You might have expected me to include felid navidjad you racist, jk LOL. But let me put you on to something even better than that (skull emoji). Speaking of ‘Feliz Navidad ‘that song is really the same 2 lines over and over again. That truly is what it takes to be rich.

Ironically enough, I get sick of looping certain Christmas songs over and over again, but I find it difficult for newer seasonal songs to actually be good enough to loop every year. None of the achieve the icon level for me to remember to stream it every year. So how does this problem get solved. Michael Bublé coming out with a new holiday album is the only logical solution at this point. I will patiently be waiting.

Ariana Grande ate with this one I’ll admit. Did anyone know there was dirtier version of this song?? I found out through twitter, my favorite news channel :[ Love seeing the controversial Christmas songs like ’Baby, It’s Cold Outside’. Was too blinded by Michael Bublé’s yummy voice to notice the lyrics and how creepy they are on the down low. “You’re very push you know””I like to think of it as opportunistic” LMAOOO??

This reminds me of the time in first year when i was checking out the holiday market in Union Square. I kept seeing everyone rave about the hot chocolate and it looked DELIGHTFUL. So I did what any fat ass would do: I got it before my 6 hour class. That was my first mistake. Some background info, I am lactose intolerant. Hot chocolate, that hot chocolate SPECIFICALLY, was very thick and chocolaty. Dairy overload in otherwise. I will just say that I did not have a blast from 4pm to 9:40pm that day.
